As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence supports a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This is a driving post, so you will conduct mobile patrols as part of your responsibilities. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail setting to help to deter theft and unauthorized access.
Document and report any unusual incidents, property damage, or suspicious activity according to company and client protocols.
Collaborate with site management and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns.
Assist with crowd management and/or access control during peak hours or special events within the location.
Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance to customers and staff as needed.
