Job Description As a Security Officer - Retail Site - Front Desk - Part Time in Chandler, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and exceptional customer service. You will monitor entry points, assist with inquiries, and maintain a welcoming environment while supporting the values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first culture.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be 21+ Years of Age
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, customers, and/or employees in a professional and courteous manner at the front desk of the location.
Monitor access to the premises by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Assist with security-related procedures and communicate important information to management and/or emergency responders as needed.
Provide customer service to clients by addressing inquiries and supporting a welcoming environment at the front desk.
Support Allied Universal in maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activities within the location.
