Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, guests, and/or customers in a professional and courteous manner at the front desk of the location.
Monitor access control by verifying identification and logging visitors, helping to maintain an orderly entry process.
Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Assist with security-related procedures as directed by Allied Universal and site management, adapting to retail environment needs.
Communicate and coordinate with onsite staff and/or law enforcement as necessary during emergency response activities.
Provide a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity within the retail or mall location.
Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, visitor logs, and daily activities.
