Job Description As a Security Officer - Retail Roving Patrol Driver in Auburn, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed driving patrol officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay visible to help to reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls. You will also support store teams and shoppers with customer-focused communication, reporting, and professionalism. Requirements

Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be 21+ years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, suspected shoplifting activity, and customer disputes while following post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, common areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Perform access control as assigned, including monitoring entrances and exits, observing customer flow, and supporting store staff with security-related concerns.
Monitor CCTV and alarm systems when available, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or dispatch per established protocols.
Document observations, incidents, and actions taken in daily activity logs and incident reports, and assist with preserving information for follow-up as needed.
Provide directions and general assistance to customers, associates, and vendors, and escalate concerns to management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
Participate in opening and closing procedures as assigned, including perimeter checks and checking for unsecured doors, gates, and restricted areas.
