As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and maintain a visible presence throughout the area. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment within the retail location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any irregularities.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to staff and patrons within the retail environment.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or local authorities as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.
