As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Full-Time Weekdays in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed professional with Allied Universal in a dynamic retail distribution environment, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or incidents encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, employees, and vendors with directions and inquiries as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management and location staff to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly following any incidents or routine patrols.
