As a Patrol Officer at a major retail location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the well-being of staff, visitors, and property.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behaviors.
• Work closely with store staff and management to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as required.
• Complete incident reports and maintain detailed records of daily activities and observations.
• Assist with crowd control during busy periods and/or special events within the location as needed.
• Remain alert to potential hazards or suspicious activity and report findings to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as appropriate.
