As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will make high-visibility rounds, perform mobile patrols as a driving post, and document security-related observations while supporting tenants, visitors, and staff with professional service. You will respond to incidents, assist with access and property rules, and communicate clearly with site contacts. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and fire-related notifications, and communicate updates to property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and property activity, verify authorized entry where required, and assist with visitor direction, deliveries, and contractor check-in processes according to site-specific instructions.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, patrol findings, and incident response actions, and participate in shift briefings and handoffs to support consistent security-related coverage.
