Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while creating a welcoming presence for tenants, visitors, and staff.
Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with property management and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, assist with visitor directions, and observe conditions that may require a security-related response.
- Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership, tenants, and/or client representatives regarding site conditions and observed issues.
