As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Specialist Full-Time in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the retail or mall location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or irregularities discovered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
Follow all site-specific protocols and procedures as outlined by Allied Universal and the client location.
Assist with crowd management and access control as required, helping to maintain orderly flow within the premises.
