As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a major retail distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location's operations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activities and/or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site instructions.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and vendors to provide assistance and information as needed.
Maintain detailed records and logs of all patrols, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site protocols.
