As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering great customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with store teams, and respond to concerns with professionalism and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state, with schedules supported by Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and team-focused culture. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.63 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, associates, and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, entrances, stock areas, and exterior perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical events, and property damage, and request additional assistance when needed.
• Support loss prevention and access control efforts by monitoring entrances, observing for suspicious behavior, and helping to deter theft, trespassing, and disorderly conduct.
• Complete required reports and daily activity logs, communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and assist with customer inquiries and directions as needed.
