Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail or mall location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to assist in maintaining a secure environment for clients, tenants, and visitors.
Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management when appropriate.
Offer assistance and directions to visitors, tenants, and employees as part of customer service responsibilities.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific policies and procedures while on duty.
