As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a positive environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activity within the location to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required.
Assist customers, employees, and visitors with general inquiries and directions as needed.
Document and communicate incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues according to Allied Universal protocols.
