As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and strong customer service. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the property, interact with guests and staff, and respond to situations with professionalism and care. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the retail location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting as needed according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to observe and report any suspicious activity or potential issues.
Assist with access control and verify the credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required.
Document incidents and observations clearly and accurately in daily activity reports and/or incident reports.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communication with law enforcement or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
