Job Description As a Security Officer - Retail Guest Liaison in Oak Brook, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a premier retail location, you will play a key role in greeting guests, monitoring access, and providing a welcoming presence. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your visibility and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Assist with visitor management, including logging guests, issuing visitor badges, and communicating with staff as needed.
  • Support loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding any incidents or security-related matters.
  • Follow emergency response protocols and assist during emergency situations as directed by site leadership.
