As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to conduct routine patrols throughout the property. You'll play a key role in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, upholding our values of agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity as you interact with guests and staff alike.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post and is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unauthorized individuals on the premises.
Assist visitors, customers, and/or employees by providing information and directions as needed.
Work collaboratively with location management and Allied Universal staff to address security-related needs and support daily operations.
