Requirements

MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide professional customer service to visitors, guests, and staff at the front desk location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the premises by verifying identification and credentials, and assist with visitor management as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client instructions.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of incidents, visitor activity, and any unusual occurrences at the front desk location.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and emergency services as needed.
Assist with emergency response activities and/or evacuation procedures when appropriate, following established protocols.
Help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity through attentive presence and adherence to security-related procedures at the front desk.
