As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a bustling retail distribution location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and managing access to the facility. Your role involves monitoring entry points, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with security-related incidents. You will utilize technology and communication skills to help create a welcoming environment while supporting our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.26 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or vendors entering the location, providing a professional and courteous presence at the front desk.
Monitor access control systems and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records and logs related to visitor check-in, deliveries, and security-related activities.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and the client regarding security-related concerns and/or incidents as needed.
Follow emergency response protocols when appropriate, coordinating with local authorities and site personnel as required.
Provide customer service by addressing questions and/or concerns from employees and visitors, directing them as needed within the location.
