About The Position

As a Security Officer - Retail Floor Watch in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. Requirements

A guard card or security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft and other unwanted behaviors within the retail environment.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding security-related matters and site protocols.
Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
