Job Description As a Security Officer - Retail Entrance Control in Salisbury, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entrances and patrol designated areas within a retail distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will interact with staff and visitors, provide excellent customer service, and support a positive atmosphere. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the distribution facility.
Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises according to site-specific policies.
Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries from staff and visitors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate for the location, supporting the well-being of people and property.
