Job Description As a Security Officer - Main Entrance Control in Lugoff, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and support a professional check-in experience. You will stay visible, conduct routine patrols when needed, respond to incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
- Control access at gates and entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry and exit logs, and coordinating with site personnel for access approvals.
- Monitor and report suspicious activity, alarms, and access control exceptions, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when directed by post orders and/or site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and document observations per post requirements.
