As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This primarily driving post allows you to remain visible throughout the property and respond promptly to situations as they arise. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card or license is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and guidelines provided by Allied Universal.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and enhance visibility.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents within the location to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a professional presence while interacting with customers, employees, and/or visitors, offering assistance as needed.
Complete required documentation and reports related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities in a timely and accurate manner.
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and site staff to support a secure environment at the location.
