As a Security Officer - Retail Driving Patrol in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the retail location. Your primary responsibilities will involve driving and patrolling assigned areas, engaging with visitors and staff, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, suspicious activity, and/or disturbances.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or assisting with crowd management as needed.
Support emergency response activities and communicate with Allied Universal management and site contacts as appropriate.
