About The Position

As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driving in Johnstown, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and proactive communication will contribute to a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for employees and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized individuals on the premises.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, disturbances, and other unwanted activities within the retail environment.
Collaborate with retail staff and/or management to address security-related concerns and support a positive experience for customers.
Complete required reports and logs accurately and in a timely manner as directed by Allied Universal or site management.
