As a member of the Allied Universal team, you will help to deter security-related incidents and manage access at a dynamic retail distribution environment. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and personnel. By remaining visible and attentive, you will contribute to a secure atmosphere and support a positive experience for everyone onsite. Requirements

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A valid guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of individuals, vehicles, and/or materials at the location.
Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activities through regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter.
Respond to incidents and security-related situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations as needed.
Work collaboratively with clients, visitors, and staff to support a welcoming and secure environment at the location.
Document observations and/or incidents according to site-specific protocols and Allied Universal policies.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following site and Allied Universal guidelines.
