You'll help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and remaining highly visible to support a secure environment. Providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, you'll play an important role in fostering a welcoming atmosphere, while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity through teamwork and a caring approach.

Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail distribution center environment.
Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and/or hazards.
Document and report observations, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with visitor and contractor management by verifying credentials and facilitating authorized entry.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel to support a secure environment.
