Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and staff at the hotel or resort location by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property, including the business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance issues, and/or hazards according to established protocols.
Collaborate with hotel or resort personnel to support a secure and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Provide visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and offer assistance as needed.
