Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location as a Front Desk Security Officer, where you will greet guests, monitor access, support security-related activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a front desk post at a resort location.
  • Monitor lobby and front desk activity, assist with access control and visitor screening practices, and report unusual behavior or suspicious activity in a calm, professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations with a problem-solving approach, escalating matters to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Support check-in area operations by helping to verify credentials, maintain accurate visitor and incident logs, and communicate clearly with guests, staff, and management regarding security-related matters.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and policy violations through attentive front desk presence, consistent observation, and courteous interaction with everyone entering and leaving the location.
