Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government ferry transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist riders and staff with professionalism and clear communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity through teamwork.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid TSA-issued TWIC is required.
A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, boarding areas, waiting areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic, and help support orderly entry and exit procedures in accordance with site guidelines.
Document incidents, policy violations, and noteworthy activity through detailed reports, logs, and/or communication with supervisors and site representatives.
