As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols and incident documentation, and remain visible to help discourage security-related concerns. You will support guests and staff with professional customer service, clear communication, and a calm presence during unexpected situations. Requirements

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • A Guard Card and/or security-related license is preferred.
  • This is primarily a driving post.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and/or resort location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, amenities, back-of-house spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request assistance from supervisors and/or public responders when needed.
  • Monitor access points and common areas, observe for unusual conditions, and report maintenance hazards, unauthorized entry attempts, and/or suspicious activity per site procedures.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
