Job Description As a Security Officer - Resort Entry Driver in LONG GROVE, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional, you will help to deter security-related incidents by managing access control and conducting routine patrols within a hotel and resort location. Your presence and exceptional communication skills will contribute to a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
Monitor and control access to the hotel and resort premises, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel, resort, and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Assist with security-related investigations and incident reporting as directed by management.
Collaborate with hotel and resort staff to address security-related concerns and provide information as needed.
Maintain a visible presence in designated areas to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance to guests and employees.
