About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Residential Site in Winthrop MA Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 12 AM - 8 AM and Friday, Saturday 4 PM - 12 AM Starting Pay is $17.50 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available As a Security Officer - Residential Front Desk in Winthrop, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a residential community, you will welcome residents and guests, manage access and visitor logs, answer calls, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, clear communication. You will be a visible, professional presence who helps support a positive living experience while documenting activity and escalating issues as needed. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Staff the front desk and help to deter unauthorized entry by greeting all entrants, verifying credentials as required, and directing visitors to appropriate locations.
Answer phones and respond to inquiries in a professional manner, relaying messages to on-site personnel as needed.
Monitor cameras and other building systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity and/or equipment concerns per post orders.
Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including visitor records, incident reports, and shift activity reports.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from property management and/or emergency services when needed.
Control keys, badges, and/or access devices as directed, issuing and collecting them according to site procedures.
Receive and route deliveries and packages in accordance with site-specific policies, assisting with vendor check-in as assigned.
Support resident needs at the front desk within scope, such as providing directions, coordinating with maintenance and/or management, and escalating issues that require additional attention.
