As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support residents and guests with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Requirements

Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions; assist with visitor check-in, deliveries, and/or resident requests per site guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting property management and/or emergency services as needed.
Document security-related activities, incidents, and patrol observations in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate notable conditions to the appropriate personnel.
