Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout residential locations. Your presence and attention to detail will create a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. You will interact with the community, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate professionally, all while supporting a caring and people-first culture built on teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the residential location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist residents and guests with inquiries or directions as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site management to address security-related needs specific to the residential environment.
