As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with team members and site contacts, and deliver professional customer service. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of Security Experience.
• Be 21+ Years of Age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and media workplace.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, production areas, common spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying credentials as directed by site policy, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Complete detailed activity reports and incident documentation, using site tools and communication channels to coordinate with building staff and/or responding authorities as needed.
