As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with residents and guests, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards found during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
- Assist residents, visitors, and staff with security-related questions and access needs in a professional manner.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, following established communication procedures.
