As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will complete routine patrols of buildings and grounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with professionalism and clear communication. You will document observations, report concerns, and support residents, guests, and staff with a customer-first approach. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, suspicious activity, noise complaints, and medical situations, and request additional assistance when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, amenities, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor and control access points as assigned, checking identification and/or resident credentials, managing visitor entry, and directing deliveries to appropriate locations.
Complete routine checks of doors, gates, stairwells, elevators, parking areas, and lighting, and report maintenance or security-related concerns to property management.
Document patrol activity, incidents, and observed hazards in daily reports and incident reports using site-required systems.
Assist with parking and traffic flow in garages and drive lanes as needed, including identifying unauthorized vehicles and reporting violations per site policy.
Support community expectations by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with resident requests while maintaining a professional presence.
