As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential locations to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations within the residential location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification as required, and addressing unauthorized entry attempts.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors, and property management regarding security-related matters.
- Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
