About The Position

As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol Full-Time in Miami Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with residents and staff, and respond to concerns with a customer-service mindset. Requirements

Be 21+ years of age.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card/license is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential community.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned, verify credentials when required, and document entries, exits, and unusual conditions per post orders.
Complete detailed reports on patrols, incidents, and maintenance concerns, and communicate observations to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
