Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, common areas, and other designated locations to observe and report suspicious activities or security-related issues.
Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.
Work collaboratively with community management and Allied Universal team members to address concerns and support a secure environment for residents and visitors.
