As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential communities, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control procedures, and provide exceptional customer service while communicating clearly with residents and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations when needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the residential location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any unusual conditions.
Complete detailed reports of daily activities, observations, and/or incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and provide assistance to residents and visitors as needed.
Maintain professional communication with property management, residents, and law enforcement or emergency personnel as appropriate.
Remain visible and approachable to provide a security-related presence and assist with inquiries or directions within the residential location.
