Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and guests by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies when needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the residential location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, guests, and property management regarding security-related matters.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
Work collaboratively with local authorities and emergency responders as directed during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the residential location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to residents and guests.
