About The Position

As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol Shift Lead in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming environment for residents and guests. Requirements

Applicants must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the residential location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities within the residential community to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to residents and visitors.
Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
Work collaboratively with property management and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.
