About The Position

As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol Lead in DALY CITY, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment for residents and guests. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
  • Collaborate with residents, visitors, and property management to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to residents and guests.
