You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, complete detailed reports using a computer or tablet, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and local responders. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 1+ years' law enforcement experience OR 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years' security experience is required.
• Candidates must be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by following security-related procedures, community rules, and site-specific policies, and by supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential streets, common areas, amenity spaces, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and community traffic flow as assigned, verify authorization when required, and communicate directions and expectations in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, notify appropriate parties, and document actions taken.
• Complete detailed written reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation; communicate observations and handoff information to Allied Universal management and oncoming officers.
