As a Security Officer - Shopping Mall Patrol Driver in Rockville, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate and retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment. This is a driving post, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and interact with tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Primarily driving post is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including retail, mall, and commercial real estate locations, as well as the surrounding perimeter.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control and help to deter unauthorized entry or activity within the location.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related occurrences.
Collaborate with property management and/or tenants to address concerns and provide support as needed.
Remain visible and approachable to assist guests, tenants, and visitors with inquiries or directions.
