Job Description As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol Driver in Boca Raton, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence for residents and visitors. This is a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication, all while upholding our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity through teamwork.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and manage visitor and resident access in accordance with location guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and address potential concerns.
Report and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences to Allied Universal supervision and property management as required.
Collaborate with residents, guests, and property management to address concerns and support a welcoming environment.
