As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and residential locations to help create a secure environment for all occupants and visitors. This primarily driving post requires you to remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service while responding to security-related incidents. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post and is preferred for those comfortable with such duties.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and residents by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of retail, mall, and residential locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for unusual conditions.
• Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity encountered during patrols in retail, mall, and residential environments.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as needed, and reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to address security-related matters and provide a welcoming presence for all visitors and residents.
