Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Control access at the front desk by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and check-out, issuing and collecting visitor credentials, and directing individuals to the proper location.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, intercoms, and other building systems from the front desk, and report unusual activity to site leadership and/or appropriate responders to help to deter policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details, notifying the proper contacts, and assisting with communications as needed.
  • Maintain accurate front desk logs and reports, including incident documentation, access records, and key package and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
